Solo Inspection Required: 300 Hours
License Type: Appraisal Trainee
Solo Inspection Details: A supervisor must accompany trainee until the assistant has logged 300 hours of appraisal experience or until the supervising appraiser determines the assistant is competent under USPAP to perform the physical inspection unaccompanied whichever period is longer.
Requirements to be a Supervisor: 5 years certified experience, take Supervisor course and complete registration within the trainee application or HERE.
Requirements to get Trainee Hours: 75 hours of appraisal coursework including 15-hour USPAP and trainee class and complete application HERE.
Application Cost: $75
Notes: It states – Accompany the trainee during the physical inspection of the property until the trainee has logged 300 hours of appraisal experience or until the supervising appraiser determines the trainee is competent under USPAP to perform the physical inspection unaccompanied, whichever is the longer period.
