RSDS Appraisal Diversity is excited to announce a strategic partnership with the US Department of Defense SkillBridge Program. The DoD SkillBridge Program seeks to transition active US Service Members into the civilian workforce by providing hands-on job training and work experience. RSDS Appraisal Diversity will recruit and hire individuals from the Army, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy. In some cases, this opportunity will also be available to veterans, the National Guard & Reserves, and military spouses! RSDS Appraisal Diversity could not be more excited to further our mission of opening doors to the appraisal industry, breaking down barriers, and providing opportunities to those who deserve opportunity.

RSDS Appraisal Diversity
Training Program

  • A hands-on in-depth learning experience designed to teach the skills needed for a career as a real estate appraiser.
  • Experienced Certified Master Trainers designated to teach a year long lesson plan.
  • Focused on meaningful experiences, including post-training careers.
  • Embracing technology and advanced appraisal practices.
  • Educate students to produce credible appraisal results that utilize an actual subject property, perform market research containing sales analysis, apply and report the applicable approaches to valuation.
  • Learn to create a credible appraisal report in conformity with USPAP.
  • Trainings include:

    • Live, In-Person Training
    • On-site-visits: viewing, measuring, data and material collection

    • One-On-One Training Sessions
    • Daily Exam Prep Skill Building

DoD Application
& Recruitment Process

Step 1 – Planning

  • 365+ Days before Honorable-Discharge from Service

  • Utilize the DoD Skillbridge website to research the RSDS Appraisal Diversity training program. 

Step 2 – Apply

  • 270-210 days before Honorable-Discharge from Service

  • Submit member branch application online for approval. 

    • Applications are routed to the member supervisor, E&TC counselor, then commander for final approval.

  • Provide a copy of this approved application to KharonB@rsdsllc.com.
