Solo Inspection Required: 50 Assignments 

License Type: Trainee 

Solo Inspection Details: A mentor must accompany each trainee on first 50 inspections. The rules also allow that a trainee who has already completed 50 assignments, in conjunction with an inspection by the trainee’s mentor, does not have to repeat another 50 assignments with inspections with the trainee’s mentor changes. Instead, the trainee can receive limited supervision by the new mentor if the new mentor and trainee comply with these requirements and limited supervision is approved by the Board.

Requirements to be a Supervisor: 3 years certified appraising experience and complete mentor form with $200 fee HERE.

Requirements to get Trainee Hours: 15-hour USPAP, 60 hours of appraisal coursework, Trainee class, apply online HERE.
