Solo Inspection Details: Article 26 section 339.2605 (4) states: The department shall utilize the AQB criteria regarding education, examination, and experience for licensure under this article. The AQB has the following requirement regarding inspection of the property: Personally inspecting each appraised property with the Trainee Appraiser until the Supervisory Appraiser determines the Trainee Appraiser is competent to inspect the property, in accordance with the COMPETENCY RULE of USPAP for the property type. The MI experience log also allows the trainee to indicate “yes or no” if the supervisory appraiser inspected the property.

Requirements to be a Supervisor: The supervisor must send a letter in that he /she is taking on a trainee.

Requirements to get Trainee Hours: 15-hour USPAP, 60 hours of appraisal coursework, Trainee class, apply online HERE.
