Solo Inspection Required: No specific number, requires a competency cert to be filed

Solo Inspection Details:

Until Supervisor determines the trainee is competent; supervisory appraiser shall make the determination of competency in writing on a form provided by the department and shall submit the determination to the department not later than 10 days after the date of the determination.

Requirements to be a Supervisor: 3 years of certified experience, complete supervisor course, complete form HERE.

Requirements to get Trainee Hours: 75 hours including USPAP, Supervisor-Trainee class and application HERE.

Application Cost: $900

Note: A trainee license is not required to begin accumulating experience hours – but they cannot solo inspect without a trainee license in place.
