RSDS Appraisal Diversity, a national real estate appraisal firm, has announced the graduation and state licensure of 20 new appraisers.
RSDS Appraisal Diversity was created to help solve a 30+ year problem in the appraisal profession – the barrier to entry. The current system has created a labor shortage and lacks youth, diversity, inclusion, and military service members. This has caused poor service levels, long wait times, and high fees for the homeowner and home buyers. RSDS strives to create the next generation of professional appraisers while providing high-paying careers for deserving people who may be currently “blocked” out of the system. With that as the vision, we set out to develop a solution to the problem in hopes of forever changing the industry and providing an exceptional client experience.
In the beginning, all efforts were on building a community of Certified Appraisers eager to teach while compensating them for their support. The first RSDS office opened in Overland Park, KS, in February of 2021. After several months of positive results and proof of concept, RSDS Appraisal Diversity expanded and opened a second location in Phoenix, Arizona. The Phoenix branch had very quick success, which led the company to begin receiving national recognition from the nation’s leading lenders and AMC’s. By the end of year one, RSDS had opened two more offices, San Diego, CA, and Dallas, TX. The journey for RSDS has reached several milestones, including the launching of our proprietary technology workflow optimization platform, the development of a university-style education learning management system, and expansion to a total of 13 markets (Austin, TX, Columbus, OH, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, Denver, CO, Kansas City, KS/MO, Minneapolis, MN, Nashville, TN, New Bern, NC, Orlando, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh/Durham, NC, San Diego, CA, Tampa, FL.).
“RSDS is proud of each appraiser trainee that committed to the arduous journey required to become a professional appraiser. To graduate our first 20 appraiser trainees is a proud moment for the company, including those trainers who invested the time, taught attention to detail, and put their license on the line for this success,” said Randy Flowers, VP of Operations at RSDS Appraisal Diversity. “Collectively, we have built a system that not only develops the future generation of appraisers but allows them to continue growing through ongoing professional development and education.”
RSDS would like to thank each of our client partners for providing the appraisal order volume to make all of this possible. RSDS is committed to providing clients with exceptional service, daily communication, industry-leading turn times, and the highest-quality reports.
